Philo had a rare story to tell. They are a silicon-based tech start-up founded by Andrew McCollum, who was on the ground floor of Facebook back in 2004. The perception of a silicon-based start-up is long hours, burnout, and treating employees like a commodity.
Why is this important to frame the challenge in this way?
Philo is at the other end of this spectrum. They value employee well-being over everything and foster an environment of growth in and outside the office. The challenge for Fuze was to tell this story and give Philo a platform to share this with the tech community on a custom Careers Page.
People over profits. This was the main narrative and idea consistent across the business and kept coming up repeatedly in the strategy sessions. Philo has a unique set of benefits that have been carefully selected to attract the people who will develop the culture they already have. We needed to scream this from the rooftops on their Careers Page.
To tell their employer brand story, we had to create a custom careers page that would allow us to engage and attract Philo's target talent pools. We built a job board with advanced search functionality integrated with their ATS (Greenhouse) to provide a positive candidate experience at the very first point.
